Who's Who
Lt Gen John D. Hopper, Jr., (USAF) became the Chief Executive Officer of the Air
Force Aid Society on April 20, 2005. Gen Hopper joined the Air Force Aid Society
after a distinguished 35+ year career in the United States Air Force. His last
assignment was Vice Commander, Air Education and Training Command at Randolph AFB,
Texas.
Following a successful career on Wall Street as a Partner or Officer of New York
Stock Exchange Member Firms he now specializes as a Senior Consultant on Capital
Markets projects for the U.S. Agency for International Development, the United
Nations, and other organizations, primarily in emerging countries. Also serves
as an Arbitrator for the New York Stock Exchange and the National Association of
Securities Dealers. He is a retired USAF Reserve Colonel, and currently resides
in New Jersey.
